How to prompt WAI-Illustrious
WAI-Illustrious is an Illustrious-XL anime checkpoint trained on Danbooru-style tags. Comma-separated tags beat long sentences, and tags near the front of the prompt carry more weight.
- Skip the boilerplate quality tags. The tile already adds
masterpiece, best qualityto every prompt. Extra ones likeamazing qualityorabsurdresare optional. - Say who is in the frame.

Uncensored, for adults
WAI-Illustrious is best known for anime NSFW, and on SirenRender it runs uncensored for fictional adults: no mosaics, no bars. SFW illustration, pin-ups and explicit work are all allowed.

Can I use WAI-Illustrious online for free?
Yes. The Anime & Hentai tile runs WAI-Illustrious v17 for free: 10 images a day with no account, 50 a day with a free account. After 250 lifetime free renders the free allowance becomes 15 a day, unless you have bought credits. Free renders carry a small sirenrender.com watermark.
Which version of WAI-Illustrious does SirenRender run?
WAI-Illustrious SDXL v17.0 (the waiIllustriousSDXL_v170 checkpoint) on both anime tiles. The free tile adds a DMD2 4-step LoRA at 0.8 strength so a render takes about 7 seconds.
Do I need a GPU, ComfyUI or Forge?
No. Everything runs on our own GPUs. You type a prompt in the browser and get the image back; there is nothing to install or download.
What settings does the free tile use?
8 steps, CFG 1.0, Euler sampler with the SGM Uniform scheduler, 832×1216 portrait. Steps (4–12), CFG (1–2), sampler and scheduler can be changed in the Advanced panel.
Why does a negative prompt not change anything on the free tile?
At CFG 1.0 the negative conditioning has no effect, which is normal for DMD2-style fast sampling. Describe what you want to see instead of listing what you don't. The HD tile runs at CFG 5 with a built-in quality and safety negative.
Does WAI-Illustrious do NSFW here?
Yes, for fictional adults. SirenRender is an 18+ service: SFW art, pin-ups and explicit anime are all allowed, and anything that sexualises minors is blocked.
How do I get a watermark-free or bigger image?
Use the Anime & Hentai HD tile (1 credit): full 30-step WAI-Illustrious sampling plus a hi-res pass to 1248×1824, with no watermark. A free account starts with 2 credits. You can also remove the watermark from any single free render for 1 credit.
How long are my images kept?
Generated images are kept for about 24 hours, so download anything you want to keep.
